Today, I’m writing this with a heavy heart and a deep sense of grief. It’s difficult to imagine a world without Dolly’s presence in it—without her voice, her laughter, her kindness and the unmistakable light she carried everywhere she went. Dolly was unapologetically herself—bold, feminine, creative, hardworking, generous and never afraid to stand out. She built an extraordinary career without losing her heart, her humor or the things that made her uniquely her. She reminded us that success doesn’t have to come at the expense of compassion, humility or joy. As a woman, hairstylist and business owner, I’ve always been inspired by women who prove you don’t have to make yourself smaller to be successful. You can have big hair, big dreams, a big personality and an even bigger heart. So much of what I want Kat Pro Studio to represent comes back to that same idea: creating a space where women feel confident being exactly who they are.
