As you may have already guessed, I’m Kat! I have been a professional hair and makeup artist for over 13 years. I am blessed to call myself a Colorado Native, and live out my dreams with my husband and our fur-filled home!

My passion has always derived from highlighting the natural beauty that everyone possesses. I specialize in all spectrums of blonde. No one loves brightening up some roots like I do!

At Kat Pro Studio, I treasure to share my skills to help make each person feel elevated and beautiful.

I started doing hair in 2015 and I opened the salon in 2021. At home I have my partner & husband, our son, and one silly pit bull.

After getting my degree in Sociology from Chico State in 2006, I tried two times at graduate school that led me to an unfulfilling corporate management career. In 2013, I decided not only to marry my best friend but start hair school at night.

MEET THE OWNER 🪶✨🌵🤎🦎 Hi, I’m Kat, the heart behind Kat Pro Studio! 🫶🏼 With 15 years of experience as a professional hair artist, my journey in the beauty industry started with a pair of Hello Kitty scissors and some very stylish stuffed animals. Even as a kid, I loved creating unique looks that made them—and me—stand out. Born with a port wine stain birthmark covering half my face, I faced Sturge-Weber syndrome, glaucoma, and countless surgeries growing up. These experiences taught me a powerful lesson: true beauty shines when you embrace your authentic self! 🖤 High school is where my love for hair and makeup blossomed, helping me express myself and sometimes hide parts of me I wasn’t ready to share. After graduating from the Aveda Institute of Denver, I navigated a challenging path, including emergency eye surgery and early career detours, but I never lost sight of my dream. From working at MAC Cosmetics to running a home salon to eventually opening my own studio, every step led me to where I am today.
